What checking competitors by hand costs
What it counts
Checking competitors by hand means opening each listing on each map, looking at the rating, reviews, prices and promotions, and writing them down. Type in how you do it today and the calculator shows how many hours a month and a year it takes and what those hours cost.
The default values are an example: ten competitors on three maps, checked once a week, ten minutes per listing. Change them to your own.

Formula: competitors × maps × checks × minutes ÷ 60 = hours; hours × cost of an hour = money.
Assumptions: every listing is opened on every map you named, and copying into a spreadsheet is part of the minutes. Pinsonar collects and matches the listings for you; you still spend time reading the result.
Questions and answers
Are the numbers I type saved or sent anywhere?
No. The calculator counts in your browser and makes no request. The page only has the anonymous visit counter of the whole site, which does not see what you type.
Does Pinsonar bring the cost to zero?
No. It collects the listings of the three maps and merges them into one record, so the copying goes away. Reading the result and deciding what to do still takes your time.
