About Pinsonar
What it is
Pinsonar is a competitor radar on maps for local business owners. You choose an area and a niche, and the Chrome extension collects business listings from Yandex Maps, Google Maps and 2GIS in your own browser. Pinsonar merges the listings of one business from the three maps into a single record, so you can see ratings, reviews, prices, services and promotions in one place.
What you can do with it
- See the businesses of your niche on a map and in a table, and filter them.
- Open a competitor's card and put its numbers next to yours.
- Get alerts when a price, a promotion or a rating of a competitor changes.
- See how a listing changed over time on its history tab.
- Export the result to an Excel file.

What it does not do
- It does not guarantee that the data is complete or exact. It comes from the public listings of the maps and is stored with the date it was collected.
- It does not work for a platform in a country where that platform is absent. Yandex Maps and Google Maps are available in any country, 2GIS only where it operates; the coverage table lists them.
- Pinsonar is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Yandex, Google or 2GIS.
Who makes it
Pinsonar is made by the Pinsonar team. We write the code, run the service and answer the messages ourselves.
Stage
The product is in a test period. It is free, with limits; see free use. It changes often, and what changed is listed on the What's new page.
